An electronic flagpole project has been developed for the Latvian market. The project aroused interest, because it could solve several problems at once.

1. The flagpole should independently remove the flag or move it from a vertical position to a horizontal one. Moreover, the vertical position should be carried out at an angle.

2. The device itself must be able to unroll and roll up flag.

3. If necessary, on mourning days a black ribbon should automatically appear from the top of the flag axis. This point was the most difficult. All three tasks are performed by rotary engines, but the control unit (controller) controls the entire process.

All these tasks of the system are programmed a year in advance and are controlled remotely via the Internet.
